| I got this phone after my last phone was stolen, and I never expected to really like it. It was relatively cheap, so I thought I'd just keep it until I found something better. So far it's been over a year & I haven't found anything better. I've owned phones from Motorola, Nokia, LG, and Samsung, and I've NEVER had a phone that I loved this much. There are a few drawbacks, but when I finally wear this one out, I'm actually considering purchasing the same model to replace it. |
| Pros: The camera takes AMAZING photos! It's a 2.0 mega pixel camera, and it works wonders on my everyday, silly candid photos. The photos are extremely sharp, very detailed, and have excellent color. A lot of times, they turn out even BETTER than the pictures I take with my $300 digital camera!!
The memory card feature allows you to increase the phone's storage capacity, and save more ringtones, photos, videos, messages, etc. It also allows you to stick your memory card into any sd slot (or use a USB/memory card port) & copy everything onto your computer to back it up.
The phone can be used to listen to the radio, and it has great sound quality.
The phone uses mp3 ringtones, so you can create ringtones rather than having to buy them somewhere.
It's DURABLE! I'm the clumsiest, most careless person on earth, and I have dropped this poor thing so many times, but I've never ever had a technical issue because of it. It's starting to get pretty beaten up now, but only physically, not i |
| Cons: The only problems I have with this phone are probably because of cingular, and not the phone itself. Cingular adds a button that automatically connects you to the internet if you push it, and if you don't lock your keys constantly, it's pretty easy to do that & get charged a LOT.
Also, I like the walkman function, but there's a button that automatically starts up the walkman & the phone starts blasting music - and you have to fumble with it to get it to shut off. That can suck if it happens in public accidentally - but as long as you remember to lock the keypad, it won't happen.
The joystick & the setup for texting takes a little while to get used to, but once you do, it's a snap. |
